A little about the numpty...

I'm James and I have been into astronomy since I was 7 years old, so I am coming up on 50 years of observing. Pretty soon, I will need my own epoch, or has that happened twice already?

I got started with astrophotogrpahy about 30 years ago with 35mm film, old skool like. I lost all of my paper images some years back, but decided to try the digital version a few years later and have had lots of fun with it. My scopes are not ideal for deep space photography and I could easily get better results with newer specialised kit, but what I have been doing is greatly rewarding.
